William "Bump"

Waghorne

Township Trustee

William "Bump" Waghorne is a 30-year resident of Hanover Park and a loving husband to his wife, Suzanne. He is the proud father of his daughters, Sierra and Savanna, who both graduated from Bartlett High School, and are now attending Iowa State University.

For the past fifteen years, William has been dedicated to working with seniors in our community. As the manager of a local senior center, he is focused on ensuring that seniors are connected to the vital community services that can help them stay healthy and live active, independent lifestyles. Over the years, he saw it was imperative we get more resources and assistance to our seniors at the local level. This passion led William to run for Wayne Township Trustee in 2013 and has served in that capacity for the last seven years.

William is dedicated to serving our community with honesty and integrity. He is focused on being a vocal proponent for seniors, ensuring the township maintains a balanced budget and that resources are directed to their fullest potential back into the community.
