Randy Ramey

Township Supervisor

A resident of Carol Stream, Randy's public service began in 1993 serving as a Committeeman in DuPage County. Before getting into elected office, Randy used his managerial training and love of working with people for a career in the food service industry. He has been a restaurant manager and chef. His move toward professional public service began in 1992 as an Outreach Representative for the Illinois Secretary of State's Department of Senior and Community Services.

 

In 1999, he was elected to the Board of Trustees in Wayne Township. In 2005, when State Representative John Millner was appointed to fill the vacancy of State Senate District 28, Randy was selected to become State Representative of the 55th District and served for 8 years. 

 

In 2017, Randy returned to public service and was elected Wayne Township Supervisor where he currently oversees the Senior Center, General Assistance, WAYS, the Cemetery and the Mosquito Abatement. Randy has lived in DuPage County for over 30 years and has three children, Alexandra, Christopher and Zachary.​
